We called our landlord about the furnace. He came over today and he and Branden installed a new thermostat. It seems to have solved the problem. No constant off-and-on, no huddling under a blanket in a cold house, no frozen nose... YAY!!!
We really do have the best landlords ever. No, seriously, they're AWESOME. Every time we have an issue- which is rare- they fix it as quickly as possible. They call us up just to make sure that we're doing ok and don't need anything. For Christmas they dropped off a card with a $50 gift certificate inside! I've NEVER had landlords like this before. They love us, too, because we always pay rent a few days early.
So everything appears to be fixed, my landlords rock and we'll be nice and toasty while we sleep tonight. :)
