I am terrible at buying gifts. I felt like I was doing really well a couple of weeks ago but now... I'm just not any good at this! Branden has no problem going to the store and buying me kitchen gadgets and Nightmare Before Christmas items. He says he's lucky because he knows that there are certain things that I will always be happy with. He's right: he is lucky and I will always be happy to have those things.
Unfortunately, he's not as easy to shop for. He wants clothes so I bought some but they're not exciting gifts! I purchased some other items he asked for but there are no big surprises. He claims that he likes it that way but I LIKE being surprised so I feel like I'm failing big time if I don't surprise him.
Apparently, I don't pay enough attention. I am SUCH a big fail. :( I guess that's just one more way that I fail at life. I only have 12 days before Christmas. Wish me luck in my endeavors!

Good luck! I have a hard time picking out Christmas gifts too! My husband doesn't like to be surprised..he'd rather pick out his gift but he never tells me what he wants and then the week of Christmas I'm out in a frantic rush trying to find him something. I'm finished with everyone this year except for him because we are in the same boat!
That is EXACTLY how it is with us! He mentions things he wants but he doesn't seem to really be excited about any of it and I never know if he actually wants that or if it's just something he thinks is cool! It's SO frustrating!
Try some kind of guy toy. I got Austin a remote control helicopter from Target a couple of years ago. That has been the only gift that he was excited about that he didn't pick out himself. This year he bought his own gift online. :(
