I've spent more time than usual on the phone today. I love weekends because I have unlimited minutes on my phone so I don't think twice about talking as long as I want... Not that I really think twice about it most of the month. :P I talked to James (it's his 19th birthday!), I talked to Chantelle (a WHOLE lot) , I talked to Branden (twice... but talking to him is free anyway), I talked to Mom (for a minute or two; we'll talk more tomorrow) and I talked to Jessica from work.
I love the way technology allows me to be in contact with my family. Cell phones and internet allow me to more easily keep up to date on day-to-day happenings. I may be 1300 miles away, but when I'm on the phone with Katie of Chantelle I feel like I'm so much closer. I love reading blogs and feeling like I am piece of the action. I'll admit that sometimes it's still not enough but, even so, this is so much better than waiting weeks to hear from someone.
Thank you to everyone who talks to me on the phone and puts up with my ramblings. Thank you to everyone who READS my ramblings and lets me read theirs. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to comment of my FB or blog. I can't express how much I appreciate the contact. :)

It's something that I am so thankful for too. I hated all of this crazy technology and yearned for simplicity at first, now I don't' know what I would do without it!
