As of February 1st I will have health insurance. :) I've been trying to get insurance since October which is when the paperwork I was given at orientation says I should have had insurance. Apparently I was given old paperwork but, as I had no other information to go on, that was what I expected to receive. After MONTHS of calling people and essentially harassing my boss I finally have results!
Wednesday I phoned the last woman I had talked to and she gave me the good news. Thursday I received the insurance packet in the mail. I filled out the required information and will be returning it to my work on Monday. Today I received my insurance card in the mail. After all that, it certainly didn't take them long to get everything set up!
I'm actually excited to go to the doctor because I'll be able to talk to him/her about getting ready to have kids. :)
