I have a job! I won't start until next week because it takes a few days for them to get the results of the drug test I'll be taking tomorrow- no worries about passing that test. At this exact moment, the job that I've accepted is the head decorator at a store about twenty minutes away from my apartment. There's a chance that I'll end up at a different store but, if not, it's not a bad drive... Almost all on the interstate.
I officially turned down the other job offer. I don't have a lot of experience turning down jobs but they were really nice about my doing it. So... life seems to be looking good right now.
Oh, other than one thing: Branden lost a filling somehow, somewhere and we are going to have to get him to a dentist. It sucks because we don't have any insurance or anything but we called a dentist and they said it'd be about $225 total and they can do it tomorrow. We're poor-ish at the moment, but we didn't spend all the money we'd saved for moving so we can use that to pay for it. Branden feels like this sort of thing always happens when we are poor and needing to hang on to money. I think that's the way it is for everybody, though. Is there ever a good time to have to pay for unexpected things? At least we have the money to do something right now. We can pay to get his tooth fixed before anything gets worse.
