Branden and I went on a mini-date today. We went to lunch- much cheaper than going out to dinner- and went to see a matinee of the movie 9. I liked the movie. I think it's probably not a movie for children. It is dark but I think the main reason it's not for kids is it's somewhat confusing for a while. I'll admit that I had to stop myself from asking questions at the beginning. I'm glad we went. It's been a while since we've treated ourselves and it really wasn't too expensive since we chose to go out in the early afternoon rather than evening.
Branden is still without job. It's not fun but we are still better off here. Even when I had a job in UT, I could not have paid our rent and bills as well as purchased groceries, etc., without Branden's help. We will be far better off when we again have two incomes but we are surviving right now. Branden has applied to CostCo and a few other places like that so we're hopeful that, while he may not immediately have his dream career, he will be bringing home a paycheck soon.
